Tres Larsen leads NPI’s Advisory Services practice, where he helps enterprises navigate complex software sourcing and asset management challenges. A former software auditor who built and led KPMG’s North American Microsoft audit practice, Tres now brings that insider expertise to the customer’s side of the table. Prior to joining NPI, he scaled ClearEdge Partners’ Software Asset Management practice into its fastest-growing service line and helped expand the company’s offerings ahead of its acquisition by Accenture in 2021. A recognized thought leader in ITAM, IT sourcing, and license compliance, Tres has deep experience negotiating with top vendors including Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and ServiceNow. He holds multiple professional certifications (CPA, CISA, CFE, MCP) and earned both a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Information Systems Management from Brigham Young University.
